A summer Event You Don’t Want to Miss!

Baijiu is the planet’s most popular spirit, ­some 20 billion bottles are produced per year­, but little-known beyond China. World Baijiu Day aims to change that by partnering with bars, restaurants, and consumers in dozen of cities each August 9. The events go beyond the tradition of drinking Baijiu as shots to feature everything from baijiu-inspired cocktail and educational tasting. I am looking for a bar or a restaurant that would be interested in participating by doing a theme cocktail that day.

I am  looking for a room for 20 people to host an educational Baijiu tasting.  A blurb about the event.

Celebrating The First World Baijiu Day in Victoria

Chinese liquor, called Baijiu (a clear, strong spirit) is the most widely drunk hard liquor in the world but it’s rarely found on cocktail menus in the West.  Join us, with 26 other cities around the world, to celebrate World Baijiu Day on Friday August 9, 2019. Embark on a journey of discovery, and sample the different styles of Baijiu as well as some mini-cocktails.  ‘Let’s Baijiu’ tasting event is a two hours tutorial about this one of kind Chinese alcoholic beverage. Fabulous Chinese hors-d’oeuvres will be served during the tasting.
